Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology: According to reports, the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology is located in Pantnagar, Kumaon, Uttarakhand. This is the first agricultural university in India. If one wants to take admission at this university, then it is mandatory for one to complete 10+2 with a minimum 45 percent marks in any related subject from any recognized board. GB Pant Agricultural University offers various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and PhD courses in the fields of science, humanities, and agriculture.
National Institute of Technology (NIT): If one wants to pursue engineering from an institute like NIT, then one can take admission at this institute, located in Srinagar, Garhwal, Uttarakhand.It is necessary for one to qualify for JEE Mains. As per reports, very soon the permanent campus of NIT Uttarakhand is going to be ready in Sumadi, Pauri Garhwal district. Presently, NIT Uttarakhand operates on the second campus of NIT, located in Srinagar Garhwal. Students from all over the country come here to study engineering.
Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University: It is a Central University, established in 1973, located in Srinagar in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand in Northern India. If one wants to do higher education at a central university, this is the best. Here, one can take admission in many courses like arts, science, commerce, agriculture, horticulture, BPharm, mass communication, engineering, and many more. But one needs to qualify for the CUET entrance examination to get admission to HNB Garhwal University at the undergraduate level. For PG courses, the entrance examination is conducted by the university at its own level. Being a central university, the fees here are negligible. Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology (GBPIET): This college is located in Ghurdauri, Pauri Garhwal district, in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand. The institute offers courses in MCA, MTech, and BTech. The college provides seven undergraduate, five postgraduate, and six doctoral courses. For admission here, it is mandatory to qualify for JEE Mains after passing 12th.
Kumaun University: Kumaun University is a state university whose headquarters are in Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. The academic wing of the university is spread over two campuses (Dev Singh Bisht (DSB) Campus, Nainital, and the newly constructed Sir JC Bose Technical Campus at Bhimtal). In this college, postgraduate and diploma courses in criminology and cyber security, BBA and LLB honours courses, as well as advanced courses like Agronomy Environment, Biochemistry, BioInformatics, and MSc in Medical Lab Technology, are offered. Apart from this, many courses are also organised in UG classes, where entrance examinations are conducted at the university level for admission.
