Monsoon can knock in Himachal Pradesh by the last week of June. Earlier, for June 25, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rains. A rain warning has been issued in all districts except Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti. Heavy rain is forecast in most areas from June 25 to 27.

Director of the Meteorological Department, Dr. Surendra Pal said that there may be light rain at some places today and tomorrow, but on June 24 the Western Disturbance will be more active. It will rain in most areas of the state on this day. In view of this, on June 24, a yellow alert of rain and a warning of strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour has been issued.

Dr. Pal told that the impact of cyclonic storm Biparjoy is being seen in the state for the last two days and will continue for the next one or two days. Due to its effect, it is raining in the state. Due to this, a slight drop in the temperature was recorded and the weather remained pleasant.

56 mm of rain in Renukaji during 24 hours

It has rained in many areas of the state during the last 24 hours as well. Renukaji of Sirmaur received maximum rainfall of 56 mm, Shimla 40 mm, Pachhad and Dalhousie 26 mm, Arki Solan and Jogendranagar 20 mm, Rajgarh and Jubbal 17 mm and Theog 15 mm.
