Hearing on Jacqueline Fernandez’s demand to go abroad will be held in Patiala House Court of Delhi today. According to the news agency, the actress had filed a petition in the court to go abroad. After which the court ordered the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to file its reply on Jacqueline’s application to go to Dubai in the last week of January in connection with her work.

Please tell that Jacqueline had earlier sought permission from the court to travel abroad to meet her ailing mother, but later she withdrew the petition filed in Delhi’s Patiala House Court.

Actually, the court had said that the matter is at its critical stage, so they cannot be allowed to go abroad. The court had said that if you want, you can withdraw this application or seek a judicial order from the court. Jacqueline had decided to withdraw her application on this.

Relief to Jacqueline in money laundering case, next hearing on February 15
The Patiala Court had last Monday (January 23) adjourned the hearing of the case involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar and Jacqueline. The allegations in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case were to be debated in the court, but the court adjourned it till February 15. Along with this, giving some relief to the Bollywood actress, the court also exempted her from personal appearance in the court.

Last year, the ED had filed a charge sheet against Sukesh and others in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case. According to the allegation, Sukesh had cheated the wives of former Ranbaxy promoters Shivinder Singh and Malvinder Singh of more than 200 crores on the pretext of getting them out of jail while serving a sentence in Tihar Jail. ED has also recorded Jacqueline’s statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. According to ED, Jacqueline is an important witness in Sukesh’s Rs 200 crore extortion case.
