Health Minister’s warning on Corona: Mandaviya said – people should be careful, because the epidemic is not over yet; Children are not vaccinated yet

In the press conference at the BJP headquarters, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said – The threat of corona is not over yet. People should take precautions to stay safe, as the pandemic is not over yet. Mandaviya dismissed the danger of Omicron’s XE variant saying – India is safe with this.

He informed about the measures taken by the central government to deal with the pandemic in 2020. It also said that when the vaccination of children below 12 years will start, it is not yet decided. We are waiting for expert opinion. The vaccination of children will start as soon as they get the green signal from them.

Booster dose free to the elderly at government centers
Regarding fixing the price of booster dose by the government at Rs 225, he said that this is the maximum price. Its prices may come down further in the future, as many vaccine makers are entering the market. Those above 60 years of age will be given free booster dose at government centers, but other people will be available at private centers only.

Corona situation under control
Mandaviya said that the situation of Kovid-19 is under control, the government is continuously monitoring it and advising the states. We cannot predict tomorrow, as the pandemic is not over yet. People need to take precautions.
