Has Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s ‘Radhe Shyam’ been postponed to March 2022? – Times of India

Director Radha Krishna Kumar, who is calling the shots for ‘Radhe Shyam‘, had exclusively revealed to ETimes that they may postpone the movie’s release, ‘If the situation worsens’. And news of the film’s release being affected due to the Covid restrictions is now being reported.

After ‘Jersey’ and ‘RRR’, it seems like ‘Radhe Shyam’ is also going for a postponement from its original theatrical release of January 14, 2022. According to a news portal, the makers of ‘Radhe Shyam’ have informed several distributors about the delay in release and are considering releasing the film in March 2022.

Before ‘Radhe Shyam’, SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ was slated for release on January 7. However, a few days ago the makers announced that the film has been taken off the release calendar now. “Keeping the best interests of all the involved parties in mind, we are forced to postpone our film. Our sincere thanks to all the fans and audience for their unconditional love. Inspite our relentless efforts some situations are beyond our control. As many Indian states are closing theatres, we are left with no choice but to ask you to hold on to your excitement. We promise to bring back the Glory of Indian Cinema and at the right time, WE WILL,” read the statement. This Telugu action drama is headlined by Ram Charan and N T Rama Rao Jr. It also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.
