Republic Day this time was very special for Haryana. For the second time in a row, Haryana’s tableau participated in the parade on 26 January. This time also the pride of Haryana was shown on the duty path of Delhi. The tableau made on the theme of Geeta Mahotsav was the center of attraction among the people. Chief Minister Manohar Lal gave the eternal message of Gita through a tableau.

Giving Gita knowledge to Arjuna
In the tableau, the great form of Shri Krishna is shown riding on a lotus. Along with this, Sheshnag is covering Lord Krishna with his hood. In the tableau, along with his great form, Shri Krishna is also giving the knowledge of Gita to Arjuna. Arjuna’s chariot is behind the form and Arjuna is sitting and taking the knowledge of Gita from Shri Krishna.

Government is promoting Gita
Describing it as a moment of pride, Chief Minister Manohar Lal has said that Gita is not only Haryana’s heritage but also the heritage of the whole world. The Haryana government is spreading the knowledge of Gita through the International Gita Mahotsav. The message given by Shri Krishna to Arjuna to walk on the path of duty, similarly the tableau of Haryana appeared on the path of duty. He said that the Haryana government will continue to make efforts for the promotion of Gita.

Gita included in the curriculum
After including Gita in the curriculum, the Haryana government is now going to include verses from Gita in prayer meetings of schools. The committee constituted under the chairmanship of Geeta Manishi Swami Gyananand has made this recommendation. The Education Department has made preparations to implement it. Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar has also confirmed this.
