Haryana Dy CM Dushyant Singh Chautala’s convoy meets accident due to dense fog, no one seriously injured

Haryana: Haryana deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala’s car was involved in a collision at Haryana’s Agroha late Monday while travelling from Hisar to Sirsa. The car collided with the police vehicle travelling in his convoy due to dense fog on the route. While the deputy CM escaped unharmed, a police officer was injured. The accident occurred after passing through the BSF camp on the Agroha route on the way to Sirsa from Hisar. The incident occurred when the Haryana Police escort leading the convoy took a break. There were no significant injuries in the accident.

Another fog-related accident was recorded in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday morning, a bus crashed with a container vehicle in the Dankaur district, killing one and injuring at least ten others. According to police, the bus was carrying 60 passengers; those who were hurt were transferred to a hospital.

A drop in temperature has been recorded in states of North India including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Bihar. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘cold wave’ alert in many North Indian states.
