Arun Maurya has been living in Panipat with his brother and other family members for many years. His coming and going in the village is also less. Just six months ago, he had a fight with someone in Panipat. After which he went to UP and started living there with his uncle and aunt. Apart from the uncle-aunt’s house, he has built many hideouts in UP.
Maurya labored in Panipat
Shooter Arun Maurya’s father Deepak Kumar used to work as a laborer living in Panipat for a long time along with his father Mathura Prasad. He has one and a half bighas of land in the village, which could not survive. Even after that, he worked as a laborer etc. in Panipat for many years. Eight years ago, Deepak Kumar moved to the village. Came here and first drove an auto. After driving an auto for many years, an auto accident happened. After that he started selling golgappas.
While talking to the media, at 10:35 pm on Saturday night, three assailants shot at Atiq’s temple. In no time Atiq-Ashraf fell on the ground. Both died within 20 seconds.
Shooter came to the village six months ago
Shooter Arun Maurya used to live in Panipat, but he came to the village about six months ago after having a fight with someone in Panipat. He had a fracture in his hand. After staying here for 3 days he went back. Arun’s grandfather Mathura Prasad is a watchman in a factory in Vikas Nagar, Panipat. He lives right here in the factory.
Two younger brothers do junk work in Faridabad
Arun alias Kalia also has two younger brothers. Whose names are Dharmendra and Akash. Both of them stay in Faridabad and do the work of selling and buying junk. Arun Maurya’s aunt Lakshmi Devi and uncle live in the village.
According to police sources, Arun’s aunt Lakshmi told that Arun had come to the village long back. After that he has not come till today. Arun’s aunt told that he used to come to the village but did not talk to anyone.
The family fled from UP before the police arrived
Father Deepak Kumar was not aware that his son had killed mafia Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf. By 9 am, Deepak Kumar, his wife Kela Devi and daughter Sapna were in the village and were preparing to set up a golgappa cart.
When they came to know about the son’s misdeeds from social media after 8 am, the whole family fled from the house in no time. Till then even the police had not reached his house. The people of the village told that between 8 am and 9 am the family members were preparing Golgappas.
After that suddenly went somewhere. After his departure, the police team reached the village. He identified Arun Maurya from the villagers through a photo from Prayagraj and gathered information about the family. When the villagers came to know about this matter, they were also shocked and remained silent.
