Hardik Patel angry with Congress!: Said – My condition in the party is such, as if a newly married groom has been sterilized’, accused Congress of doing side line

Assembly elections are going to be held in Gujarat only a few months from now. At the same time, in the midst of election preparations, Gujarat Congress working president Hardik Patel has indicated that all is not well within the party by accusing the party of neglecting itself.

Patidar leader and working president of Gujarat Congress Hardik Patel has targeted his party on Wednesday. Accusing the Congress of “ignoring” her, Hardik said, “My position in the party is that of a newly wed groom who has been sterilized.” He made this statement in an interview given to the English daily Indian Express.

Just before the 2017 Gujarat elections, Rahul Gandhi had brought Hardik Patel to the Congress. Now Patel has accused the party leadership of sidelining him. Hardik said that he is not invited to any meeting of the state Congress unit. Not only this, no advice is ever taken from them before taking any decision. However, Hardik Patel’s displeasure with the Congress is being linked to the fact that the party is considering replacing Naresh Patel, another leader of the Patel community. Due to this Hardik fears that his stature will be reduced in the party.

‘Congress got benefit from Patidar movement’
Hardik Patel said the Congress had benefited “because of us (Patel community)” in the 2017 elections. The Patidars helped the Congress win a large number of seats in the 2015 local body elections and the 2017 Gujarat assembly elections. The party won 77 seats in the 182-member assembly. But after that there was no hard work. Many people in the Congress also feel that after 2017 the party did not use Hardik Patel properly. It could also be because some people in the party will think that if I am given importance today, I will come in their way after five or 10 years.”

Why has the decision not been taken for Naresh Patel yet?
At the same time, on the discussion of including Naresh Patel in the Congress, he said- ‘The discussion of including Naresh Patel in the Congress is insulting to the entire community. It’s been over two months now. Why has no decision been taken yet? The Congress high command or the local leadership should immediately take a decision about the inclusion of Naresh Patel. He questioned, ‘Now, as I see on TV, the party wants to include Naresh Patel for the 2022 elections. I hope they don’t look for new Patel for 2027 elections. Why doesn’t the party use the people they already have?”
