Had to blast before August 15: Explosives arrived in Punjab in drones from Pakistan; Shamsher of border area reached Haryana with 4 friends

The explosive (IED) found from the Ambala-Shahabad highway in Kurukshetra had reached Punjab through a drone. The explosive contained about 1.30 kg of RDX, timer, battery, detonator and inverter. It had a timer of 9 hours. Due to this, the blast was to be done before Independence Day i.e. 15 August. It was sent from Pakistan via drone. Which was collected by Shamsher, who lives on the Indo-Pak border in Tarn Taran. Then he went to Kurukshetra in June with 4 friends.

He hid it under the tree there. After this, the photo and location were sent from there to the handler sitting abroad. After that his work was over. During this he was in touch with the handler through a WhatsApp call. Now its strings are connecting with the notorious terrorist gangster Harvinder Rinda sitting in Pakistan. Police is searching Shamsher’s mobile. At the same time, the sleeper cell of terrorists is also being investigated in Haryana. Shamsher was produced in the court on Friday and has been taken on remand till August 16.

According to preliminary police investigation, 25-year-old accused Shamsher Singh, a resident of Tarn Taran in Punjab, is part of the Terror Module. He had sent this explosive, the photo of the place and the location to the handler sitting abroad. Then his second henchman had to take him forward. Even before this, the police caught Shamsher. Explosives were recovered on his spot.

Shamsher’s role was over after placing explosives here. The police is also conducting a forensic examination of the bomb to see how powerful it was.

Haryana Police has started searching the records of Shamsher Singh, who was involved in the terrorist group arrested in this case. For this information is being collected by contacting Punjab Police. Details about his old criminal record, registered case are being collected. The Punjab Police is also trying to investigate the details of Shamsher at its level. The Punjab Police suspects that they carried the bomb which came in Punjab through a drone to Haryana. Shamsher runs a shop in Punjab.
