Delhi Police has released AAP’s Gujarat chief Gopal Italia, who was detained during a protest at the office of the National Commission for Women President. He was kept in custody for three hours. In fact, the NCW had sent a notice to Italia on Thursday morning for making derogatory remarks on PM Modi. To which Gopal had reached only to answer.

After the notice, Aam Aadmi Party workers were protesting outside the office of the commission’s chairperson, Rekha Sharma. Delhi Police had detained Gopal from here. He was taken to Sarita Vihar police station.

Gopal tweeted an hour after reaching the NCW office- “Commission chief threatening to put me in jail. What more can Modi government give to Patel community. BJP hates Patidar community. I am Sardar (Vallabhbhai)”. Patel’s descendant. I am not afraid of your jails. Put me in jail. Even the police have been called. I am being threatened.”

On getting information about the summon, Aam Aadmi Party workers in Delhi started protesting outside the office of National Commission for Women (NCW) President Rekha Sharma.

On the other hand, NCW Chief Rekha Sharma said that 100-150 people of Aam Aadmi Party had come to threaten her. On a question-and-answer question to Gopal, he said- “Gopal refused to receive the summons but his answer was ready. He has denied his presence in the video as well but he has agreed to tweet the video. He has claimed that this They weren’t in the video.”

Rekha said that Gopal’s statement and written statement are not matching. He has not given the correct answer. I have also told the police that action should be taken against him as he was creating atmosphere to disturb law and order. His supporters forcibly tried to enter the office.”

The NCW president was supposed to attend the meeting at 2 pm, but could not go due to the protest. He also said that if 100-150 people come and threaten me, what kind of leader are they? All he had to do was come to the NCW office and answer only a few questions.
