The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will be conducting the GSEB Class 10, 12 board exam 2023 from today, March 14. The GSEB Class 10 Exam 2023 will commence with the First Language paper, which includes Gujarati/Hindi/Marathi/English/Urdu/Sindhi/Tamil/Telugu/Odia and the GSEB Class 12 Exam 2023 for the general stream will begin with Sahkar Panchayat in the first half and Namanam muḷa tatvo in the second half.
For the science stream, the GSEB HSC Exam 2023 will begin with the Physics paper.
The GSEB Class 10 Exam 2023 will conclude on March 28, 2023, with the Second Language paper, which includes Hindi/Sindhi/Sanskrit/Farsi/Arabic/Urdu, as well as papers on Healthcare, Beauty and Wellness, Travel Tourism, and Retails. The Class 12 Exam, for the general stream, will conclude on March 29, 2023, with the Sociology paper. For the science stream, the exam will conclude on March 25, 2023, with papers on the first and second language.
It is mandatory for students to carry a hard copy of their hall tickets to the exam center, and failure to do so will result in them being denied entry to the exam hall.
The GSEB date sheet for Class 10 indicates that the exam will be held in a single shift, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Meanwhile, the Class 12 exam will be conducted in two shifts – the first shift from 10.30 am to 1.45 pm, and the second shift in the afternoon from 3 pm to 6.15 pm.
GSEB Board Exam 2023: Check Guidelines
Students are advised to follow these guidelines:
- Carry your GSEB SSC/HSC Hall Ticket 2023 along with a valid photo ID to the exam venue.
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops and Bluetooth speakers/earphones are strictly prohibited inside the exam venue.
- Students must reach the venue on time to avoid any further delays.
- Students will be given the first 15 minutes of the exam to carefully review and understand the details of the question paper.
- It is mandatory for students to bring their own stationery items to the exam center, as borrowing anything from fellow examinees will not be allowed.
