Hello,
The central government has opposed giving legal recognition to same-sex marriage. In the affidavit given by the Center in the Supreme Court, it has been said that same sex marriage is not according to Indian tradition. It does not match with the concept of husband and wife and the children born to them. However, the Center has no objection to such marriages.

The Supreme Court has transferred to itself the petitions filed in different High Courts, including Delhi, demanding legal recognition of same-sex marriages. Chief Justice D.Y. A bench headed by Chandrachud will hear the matter today.

On the other hand, in the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India scored 571 runs in the first innings. Virat Kohli played a marathon inning of 186 runs. He scored a century after 1205 days in Test. This is Kohli’s 28th century in Tests and 75th overall. Sachin Tendulkar has the record of more centuries than him in international cricket, Sachin has scored 100 centuries overall.

1. Center decriminalized homosexuality in 2018, against recognition of same-sex marriage

The central government has said in the affidavit that in all the laws and statutory acts related to marriage, the definition of husband and wife has been given biologically. Accordingly, both have been given legal rights. How can husband and wife be considered separately in case of dispute in same-sex marriage?

Earlier in the year 2018, the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court had decriminalized homosexual relations. Justice Chandrachud was also included in this bench. However, the central government argues that on the basis of the 2018 decision, there cannot be a demand for recognition of same sex marriage.

A woman has claimed that actor Satish Kaushik has been murdered. Satish passed away on the night of 8 March. On the same day, he attended a party at the Delhi farm house of businessman Vikas Maloo. Malu’s wife claims that her husband killed Satish for a transaction of Rs 15 crore.

Although Malu has denied these allegations. The Saudi Arabian government has issued new guidelines regarding restrictions on Ramadan. According to the Islamic Ministry, there will be a ban on offering prayers through loudspeakers and iftar feasts in mosques during Ramzan. Along with this, asking for donations for giving feasts is also prohibited.

Children have also been banned from offering namaz in the mosque. Imams will be present in the mosques throughout the month of Ramadan. Many Islamic organizations of the world have expressed their displeasure over these guidelines. They believe that this has been done to reduce the influence of Islam in everyday life.
