Hello,
The central government has opposed giving legal recognition to same-sex marriage. In the affidavit given by the Center in the Supreme Court, it has been said that same sex marriage is not according to Indian tradition. It does not match with the concept of husband and wife and the children born to them. However, the Center has no objection to such marriages.
The Supreme Court has transferred to itself the petitions filed in different High Courts, including Delhi, demanding legal recognition of same-sex marriages. Chief Justice D.Y. A bench headed by Chandrachud will hear the matter today.
On the other hand, in the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India scored 571 runs in the first innings. Virat Kohli played a marathon inning of 186 runs. He scored a century after 1205 days in Test. This is Kohli’s 28th century in Tests and 75th overall. Sachin Tendulkar has the record of more centuries than him in international cricket, Sachin has scored 100 centuries overall.

1. Center decriminalized homosexuality in 2018, against recognition of same-sex marriage
The central government has said in the affidavit that in all the laws and statutory acts related to marriage, the definition of husband and wife has been given biologically. Accordingly, both have been given legal rights. How can husband and wife be considered separately in case of dispute in same-sex marriage?
Earlier in the year 2018, the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court had decriminalized homosexual relations. Justice Chandrachud was also included in this bench. However, the central government argues that on the basis of the 2018 decision, there cannot be a demand for recognition of same sex marriage.

2. Modi targets Rahul’s speech, inauguration of world’s longest platform in Karnataka
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the IIT at Hubli-Dharwad in Karnataka. Here he targeted Rahul Gandhi’s speech in London. PM Modi said- It is unfortunate that questions were raised on India’s democracy in London. The roots of India’s democracy are drawn from our centuries-old history.
In fact, Rahul had said in Cambridge University that mikes are switched off in Parliament. 3. India-Australia Test, Team India all out on 571 on the fourth day, Akshar hit 4 sixes
In the Fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India scored 571/9 in the first innings. Akshar Patel was bowled by Mitchell Starc after scoring 79 runs. He hit 4 sixes in his innings and shared a 162-run partnership with Virat for the sixth wicket.
By the end of the fourth day’s play, Australia were 3 for no loss in the first innings. Night watchman Matthew Kuhneman (0 *) along with opener Travis Head (3 *) returned to the unbeaten pavilion. The team is still trailing by 88 runs. Team India has made a lead of 91 runs over Australia on the basis of first innings.

4. Woman said- Businessman husband killed Satish Kaushik, there was a fight over money
A woman has claimed that actor Satish Kaushik has been murdered. Satish passed away on the night of 8 March. On the same day, he attended a party at the Delhi farm house of businessman Vikas Maloo. Malu’s wife claims that her husband killed Satish for a transaction of Rs 15 crore.
Although Malu has denied these allegations. According to the woman, on August 23, 2022, Satish Kaushik had come to her house in Dubai and during this time he had demanded Rs 15 crore from her husband. 5. New guidelines in Saudi Arabia for Ramadan, ban on loudspeaker during Namaz

The Saudi Arabian government has issued new guidelines regarding restrictions on Ramadan. According to the Islamic Ministry, there will be a ban on offering prayers through loudspeakers and iftar feasts in mosques during Ramzan. Along with this, asking for donations for giving feasts is also prohibited.
Children have also been banned from offering namaz in the mosque. Imams will be present in the mosques throughout the month of Ramadan. Many Islamic organizations of the world have expressed their displeasure over these guidelines. They believe that this has been done to reduce the influence of Islam in everyday life.

Japanese woman who was molested on Holi said – You cannot hate India despite such incidents
On March 9, the Japanese woman shared this video on her Twitter account, then removed it.
