Gold prices rose in Kolkata market on Thursday. 10 grams of hardened gold (24 carats) increased by 250 rupees. Similarly, gold jewelery (22 carat) and Hallmark gold jewelery (22 carat) also rose by Rs 250 each. However, the price of silver has come down.

Gold and silver prices in the Indian market

Gold and silver prices rose in the Indian market on Thursday. Both metals have risen to prominence. The price of 10 grams of gold rose by 1.13 percent or Rs 571 to Rs 51,009. On the other hand, the rupee rose by Rs 709, or 1.33 per cent, to Rs 61,506.
