Goa Board Exam 2024: The SSC or class 10 and HSSC or class 12 board exams will begin on April 1 and February 28, respectively

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the tentative schedule for classes 10 and 12 board exams 2024. The SSC or class 10 and HSSC or class 12 board exams will begin on April 1 and February 28, respectively. Students who will be taking the exam may check the schedule on the official website at gbshse.in. There are a total of 31 exam centres notified by the Goa board.

The SSC theory exams will begin on April 1 and will conclude on April 20. The practical exams for SSC will begin on March 4. The science (general and CWSN), geography (CWSN), and history (CWSN) exams will begin on March 1 while exams for pre-vocational or CWSN special subjects will be conducted from March 13.

Meanwhile, the theory exam for HSSC will begin on February 28 and conclude on March 14. The class 12 vocational exams will be conducted between March 1 to 12. The practical exam (general) and audit of vocational courses will begin on February 1 while NSQF practical exams will commence on February 7.

The exam will begin at 9:30 am. Candidates have been advised to be present at the designated exam centres by 9 am. Those who arrive late after half an hour will be disqualified. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before 10:30 am.

The Goa board class 10 and class 12 exam fee is Rs 1200 for general and Rs 600 for CWSN subjects. Those who fail to apply within the given time period can still apply but a late fee of Rs 500. The exam fee for application beyond the late fee period is Rs 500 plus Rs 100 per day. The out-of-turn fees for practical exams are Rs 400 per subject and for isolated subjects, it is Rs 150 per subject for SSC and Rs 250 for HSSC. Candidates of class 12 will have to pay a fee of Rs 75 for oral exams. The fee for a statement of marks and passing certificate is Rs 350 while for practical exams, the fee is Rs 150 for general and pre-vocational subjects. There is no practical exam fee for CWSN subjects.
