Tension and violence are increasing. Somewhere, girls are being raped. Crime is increasing continuously. Which is a matter of great concern.

Every year 2000 girls are raped
Every year about 2000 girls are being raped in Rajasthan. From January 2020 to January 2022, 4091 (POCSO Act) cases of rape of minor girls have been registered. At the same time, a total of 11,368 cases of rape have been registered in two years. There are 26 such cases in two years, in which murder was done after rape.

The law of capital punishment was made in the BJP rule.
During the tenure of former CM Vasundhara Raje, a law was made to provide for capital punishment to those who rape a minor. CM Gehlot has given a statement of increasing cases of killing of girls after the provision of capital punishment for raping a minor, this has been raised by many leaders in the past too.

During the BJP rule, when a bill was brought in the assembly with the provision of capital punishment to those who raped minors. During the debate on that bill, many MLAs had expressed the apprehension of increasing cases of murder of rape victim girls.
