Mangaluru: A male today and calf died, after they are suspected to have been run over by a goods train in Veeramangala near Savanooraround 6 am on Thursday. Assistant conservator of forest, Puttur sub-division, V P Kariappa, who visited the spot, said that the formalities have been completed, and a case has been booked against the engine driver.
