Gangster Sukhpreet Budha reached Moga: got 9 days remand in case of threatening to stop gambling, brought from Delhi

Gangster Sukhpreet Budha was brought on production warrant from Delhi’s Mandola Jail in connection with threatening to kill a youth and his family in Moga, Punjab, if gambling was stopped. He was produced in the court on Saturday, from where he has been sent on police remand for 9 days.

Earlier, the gangster was brought from Delhi to Moga in a bullet proof vehicle under tight security. The gangster will be produced before the court again when the remand ends on February 20.

City South SHO Amandeep Singh said that the complaint was given by Sahil Kumar Jindal, a resident of Angadpura Mohalla of the city. On this, on 20 November 2021, a case under section 384, 506, 120B was registered against A category gangster Sukhpreet Budha along with his two associates Neeraj Sharma alias Vicky and Rajesh Kumar Mangla alias Soni Mangla.

The team went to Delhi on Thursday
SPD Ajay Raj Singh told that on Thursday a police team from Moga had gone to Delhi to bring the gangster. Sukhpreet Budha had threatened Sahil Jindal. Two accused were already arrested in the case, who are out on bail. If something comes to the fore during the remand, then the accused who are out on bail can be interrogated face to face with the approval of the court.

On 21 November 2021, Sahil Kumar got a call on WhatsApp. In which the caller had described himself as gangster Sukhpreet Budha. The accused had told on the phone that the gambling house running near Old Dana Mandi Bharat Mata Mandir is his, which is run by Neeraj Sharma, Vicky and Rakesh Mangla alias Soni. If he tries to stop them, he and his family will have to face serious consequences. Along with this, money was demanded from him, even after giving the money, he was threatened with death.
