From India to Nepal, all the pilgrimage places of Ramayana will be toured in one train, find out the ticket price

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will be the first agency in India to connect the two countries via a tourist train under the Bharat Gaurab project. The train will depart from New Delhi on the Sri Ramayana Jatra Circuit and will cover an estimated distance of 8,000 km to reach Nepal.

The train will start its journey from New Delhi on the Sri Ramayana Jatra circuit. It will cover approximately 6,000 kilometers.

The train will start its journey from Safdarjung railway station in Delhi on June 21. The train will run on the Ramayana circuit of the ‘Swadesh Darshan’ project. The Ramayana will cover prominent places associated with the life of Sriram.

At the same time, for the first time, IRCTC’s special Ramayana Jatra train will stop at the Ram Janaki Temple in Janakpur, Nepal.

The 600-capacity train will cover other major cities in India, including Ayodhya, Boxer, Kashi, Prayag, Chitrakoot, Nasik, Hampi, Rameshwaram, Kanchipuram and Bhadrachalam.

The main objective of Bharat Gaurab Tourist Train is to promote domestic tourism in the country. This is part of the central government’s own country initiative. The first stop of the train is Ayodhya, the birthplace of Sriram. Tourists will visit Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Hanuman Temple and Bharat Temple.


Ticket prices

IRCTC’s Ramayana journey will cost around Rs 75,000 per person. It will cover the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
