Former Tripura CM Biplab Deb’s ancestral home set on fire by ‘particular community’

Former Chief Minister of Tripura, Bipab Deb’s house was set on fire on Tuesday by unidentified miscreants. Before setting the house on fire,  the miscreants also attacked it and managed to break several windows. The attack is said to have been executed by a ‘particular community’.

Further, the miscreants also damaged vehicles. According to reports, the local police is investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses are also being questioned. As per sources, the attack was planned ahead of Biplab’s father’s death anniversary which falls on Janauary 4.

Just a day before the death anniversary, the attack on the ancestral house of the former CM by people of a ‘particular community’ is being described as a conspiracy of the CPM.
