For the second time in a week, Mamata is set to attend Modi’s meeting

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is once again going to attend the meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the organization of the G20 meeting. He will attend the meeting called by the Prime Minister from his Kalighat residence virtually on Friday. He will attend the meeting called by the Prime Minister for the second time in a week.

Mamata Banerjee also joined the Chief Ministers of other states in the Prime Minister’s meeting organized for the preparation of the G20 meeting on December 5. However, he did not have a private meeting with Modi. After a four-day visit to Delhi, he is going to return to Kolkata to attend the meeting called by Modi.

Several events of the G20 meeting will also be held in West Bengal. The chief minister may discuss his preparation with the prime minister in the meeting. On the other hand, the central government has assured to settle the arrears of 100 days of work of the state after Modi meets Mamata.

Political circles are looking for the significance of Modi meeting Mamata. Mamata Modi did not meet her for 9 months after becoming Prime Minister. He has even been absent from successive meetings called by the Prime Minister in Delhi. Many people are suspicious of Mamata’s sudden participation in the meeting called by Modi.
