First Poster Of Katrina Kaif And Vijay Sethupathi’s Merry Christmas Out, To Release Next Year

New Delhi: Actors Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen together in ‘Merry Christmas’. The thriller film is directed by ace filmmaker Sriram Raghavan.

Both actors on Saturday shared the poster of their first collaboration.

Kaif unveiled the film’s poster on her social media handles and revealed that the movie will be released in theatres in 2023 in Hindi and Tamil.

“We wanted to release the film this Christmas…but there is a TWIST. See you in cinemas soon! #MerryChristmas” the 39-year-old actor wrote on Instagram.

Sethupathi, 44, also shared the poster and wrote, “#MerryChristmas coming soon.” The film is produced by Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures.

Katrina had announced the film on Christmas 2021. She wrote, “New Beginnings. BACK ON SET with director #sriramraghavan for Merry Christmas! I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir, He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honor to be directed by him. . Super excited to be teaming up with @actorvijaysethupathi for this one produced by @rameshtaurani & @sanjayroutraymatchbox @tips @tipsfilmsofficial @matchboxpix (sic).”

‘Merry Christmas’ is produced by Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Industries in association with Matchbox Pictures Pvt. Ltd.

Kaif most recently starred in “Phone Bhoot” with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar. She will be next seen in “Tiger 3” alongside Salman Khan.

‘Vikram’ star Sethupathi’s upcoming projects include Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai’, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Jawan’ and Prime Video series ‘Farzi’ with Shahid Kapoor.

Sriram Raghavan will next direct ‘Ikkis’, which will star Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda.

The makers made the announcement of their exciting project on the special occasion of megastar Dharmendra Deol’s 86th Birthday.

‘Ikkis’ is a war-drama based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, PVC. He is the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra who lived an exemplary life.
