A sudden fire broke out in the Nikku Ward (Child Care Ward) of the Civil Hospital of Yamuna Nagar, Haryana on Saturday morning. At the time of the incident, 9 newborn children were admitted in the ward. As soon as the fire broke out, there was chaos.

Later the newborn children were shifted to the trauma center. At that time there were 9 new born children in Nikku ward. After the information, the fire brigade vehicle also reached the spot and controlled the fire. The condition of Nikku ward has deteriorated due to the fire. The family members of the children present there also narrated the incident. Hospital’s staff nurse Manjeet told that the fire broke out due to short circuit in the AC. All the children have been rescued safely. He was first taken to the trauma center, from there he was sent to Jagadhri Civil Hospital. Fire brigade officer Pramod Duggal says that as soon as the information about the fire was received, a vehicle was immediately sent to the spot.
