A crowd of people had gathered around to save the students.

A fire broke out at Sanskriti Coaching Center in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area around 12 noon. After this, the children present there saved their lives by jumping from the windows and balcony of the third floor.

The incident took place at Gyana Building near Batra Cinema. Some students have received minor injuries due to jumping from the third floor.

Many videos have been shared on social media, in which students studying there are seen jumping from the building with the help of wires. 11 fire tenders are present on the spot. The fire could not be controlled.

Delhi Fire Brigade Director Atul Garg said that the fire was reported at 12.27 pm and a total of 11 fire engines were pressed into service. Officials said the operation to douse the fire is on. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
