A group of women farmers from Punjab reached Manji Sahib Gurdwara in Ambala. Police has been deployed at the gate of the gurudwara.

After which they started arresting women and farmers going to New Delhi. When a group of women going from Punjab to Delhi reached Manji Sahib Gurdwara in Ambala on Saturday evening, the police took them into custody. Police personnel are also stationed at the gate of the gurudwara.

On the other hand, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait released the video saying that the police has put a force behind his workers to stop them from going to the Mahila Mahapanchayat. He gave an ultimatum that if the police force is not removed, he will be forced to ask the workers to take tractors and leave for Delhi.

Wrestlers, led by Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik, have been staging a sit-in at Jantar Mantar since April 23. He has accused wrestling union president BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh of sexual exploitation.

Mahila Mahapanchayat is going to be held in front of the new Parliament House on 28 May i.e. tomorrow in support of women wrestlers against this, but the Delhi Police did not allow it. On this, the wrestlers said that wherever the Delhi Police stops them, they will hold a mahapanchayat sitting there.
