New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan continues to impress fans with one performance after another. After his ‘Freddy’ trailer created quite a buzz on the release recently, Kartik shared his physical transformation journey for the film. As per Kartik himself, he put on 14 Kgs to do justice for his role in the Shashanka Ghosh film. Taking to his Instagram, Kartik shared a picture of his before Freddy and after Freddy journey.
In one picture, we see Kartik pose in a mirror selfie and in another picture, from his movie ‘Freddy’. Kartik captioned the post, “This is the Origin Story of #Freddy which put me under a lot of physical strain and sleepless nights , Seldom come such opportunities where we get to showcase a completely different side and Freddy is that character (black heart and turtle emojis).”
Kartik’s transformation journey post lit up the comments thread on Instagram. One of Kartik’s many fans wrote, “What a transformation, method acting on point.” Another fan commented, “I am definitely sure… this is a big game changer..So proud of you K (Kartik).” Other fan wrote, “To all those sleepless nights, seldom of yours, we are proud of you (red heart emoji).” Several fans dropped the heart emojis for Kartik.
Earlier, Kartik unveiled the first teaser-trailer of Freddy and wrote, “Welcome to the World of #Freddy. Appointments open 2nd December 2022.” Kartik Aaryan will be portraying the role of a dark character in the movie who happens to be a dentist by profession. This edge-of-a-seat-thriller also stars Alaya F.
The first song from ‘Freddy’ will also be released tomorrow, Kartik’s latest post on Instagram read. He shared a teaser snip from the video of the song where Kartik looks stylish and dapper as ever. Kartik captioned the post, “Be ready to get hypnotised 🖤#KaalaJaaduReturning Tomorrow with my fav magical trio Arjit Singh + Pritam + Irshad Kamil 🎵 Can’t wait to share #KaalaJaadu with you all 🐢#Freddy 🖤.”
‘Freddy’ is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2, 2022.
