What can PM Modi announce?

Bulk Drug Park: The Himachal government has been making efforts for a long time for a bulk drug park of 1000 crores. The officials of the Industries Department have put a lot of emphasis on this. Famous companies of the country and abroad will invest in this park and medicines will be produced.

For this, the state government has identified 1000 acres of land in Podiyan of Haroli area of Una and named it in the name of Industries Department. The 12 states that claim the park include Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

National Highway: The Modi government had announced the construction of 69 NHs worth 60 thousand crores, not one or two, in the small hill state of Himachal between 2014 and 2018. These announcements came to complete 5 to 8 years, but the Modi government has not been able to give NH status to a single road. Because of this the BJP government of the state is also on the back foot.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur raised this demand several times before Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and urged to make 25 roads of the state as NH on priority basis instead of 69, but to no avail. Similarly, the pace of four lane projects under construction in the state has slowed down, while roads are the most important mode of transport in the state and roads are called life lines of the people.

Sensing this danger, Narendra Modi had announced a big gift to the gardeners of the state by promising to increase the import duty on apples during the Lok Sabha elections in Sujanpur, Himachal in 2014, but this promise was not fulfilled even after 8 years. has gone. Due to this the gardeners of the state are disappointed.
