Esha Deol, daughter of the veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, has recently opened up about her relationship with her elder brother, Sunny Deol. In an exclusive interview with Instant Bollywood, Esha shared candid insights into their bond and expressed her amusement at the term “reunion” when referring to her relationship with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. To note, despite their stardom, the Deol siblings have managed to maintain a relatively private family life.

Talking to the entertainment portal about the screening of Gadar 2, Esha said, “First of all, reunion is something I don’t understand. It’s very funny to hear that word. We are very private as a family and we’ve kept it that way and we are going to continue keeping it that way.” She added, “This was a one off where it very organically happened and you all saw us in a picture which was really well received and the public got very overwhelmed so that was very sweet.”

Esha Deol even spoke about Dharmendra’s kiss with Shabana Azmi in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. “There’s no age limit to a kiss. Romance is forever. I didn’t know. No one knew. That’s how papa is,” she added.

Recently at Koffee With Karan, Sunny spoke about his equation with Ahana and Esha, “They are my sisters. That is what it is. Nothing changes that. They were very happy. The most beautiful thing over everything was the film became successful. I was going here, there, everywhere. And then, I wanted to have a success party. But I was like, ‘will everybody come or not?’ I had my friend Kareem with me who knows everyone in the industry. He did everything. Till the evening, I was not sure who was going to attend it. But the way everybody came and the kind of love everybody gave, I was so happy seeing everyone coming home.”
