Firing has taken place between police and gangsters in Amritsar, Punjab. After cross firing with the police, 2 accused hid in a house, while 3 managed to escape. Police has succeeded in nabbing two accused Ravi and Rafi by conducting a search operation. A large quantity of weapons have also been recovered from the accused.
The incident took place on 40 feet road in Narayangarh of Chheharta area. Police had received information that some gangsters were coming in 1 car. After this the police started keeping an eye on the 40 feet road. The accused had come to a house in Narayangarh. As soon as he started leaving from there, the police put their vehicle in front of the vehicle of the accused. Seeing the police, the gangsters started firing. Seeing the retaliatory action of the police, the accused fled from there.
When the police trailed in Amritsar, the gangsters left their car on the road and entered a house.
2 accused arrested
On seeing the police, two gangsters who ran away were chased and arrested by the police. Whereas, his 3 accomplices managed to escape from the spot. The arrested gangsters have been identified as Ravi resident of Kapatgarh Amritsar and Rafi resident of Tarn Taran.
