New Delhi: In the upcoming spy action movie ‘Goodachari 2’, actor Emraan Hashmi, who was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’ as a villan, has signed on to play the parallel lead alongside Adivi Sesh.
According to the sources, “It is being said Emraan Hashmi will be sharing the screen space alongside Adivi Sesh in the pan-India film. Emraan will be seen as the parallel lead, and he is not portraying a negative role. As the talks are on, the film’s producers are optimistic about the collaboration and are confident that Hashmi’s potential inclusion will add star power and a nationwide appeal to ‘Goodachari 2’.”
As a big hit, the prequel ‘Goodachari’, starring Adivi, paved the way for success. A well-known Bollywood actor and a South star have now joined forces to bring a fresh and fascinating element to the project as the sequel unfolds. The upcoming production looks to be a cinematic marvel that will push the limits of regional cinema and combine the greatest talent and entertainment from the North and the South. With this sequel, the ‘Goodachari’ franchise hopes to reach new heights and build on the popularity of the original installment.
The makers of the massively popular Adivi Sesh film ‘Goodachari’ are back with ‘Goodachari 2’, or ‘G2’, which is tipped to be the action, thrill, and entertainment film of the decade. The film is still regarded as one of the Top 25 Telugu films of all time.
Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the 2018 Telugu film ‘Goodachari’ also features Sobhita Dhulipala, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj. The film was is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, Abhishek Agarwal and directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi.
Alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Raaz, among others, Emraan will also be seen in the web series ‘Showtime’.
