The Congress President’s election has passed just a day, but the internal politics of the party has once again come to the fore due to allegations of rigging in the election. This time Congress’s Central Election Authority chairman Madhusudan Mistry has targeted Tharoor’s chief polling agent Salman Soz.

Madhusudan Mistry said on Thursday- Said- I would like to apologize but you (Tharoor’s agent) have two faces. One was before me, in which you were satisfied with our answers. The second one, in which you started making all these allegations in front of the media. We have listened to your every complaint. Despite this, you went to the media and started saying that the Central Election Authority is conspiring against us.

Salman Soz had accused of rigging
Shashi Tharoor’s chief polling agent Salman Soz had alleged irregularities during voting in Uttar Pradesh. Soz had said that the rules of the Election Authority were flouted in Uttar Pradesh. The boxes were sealed without polling agent. Soz also said that rules have been violated in some other states as well. Soz also said in his letter that according to the rules, the polling agent should get a summary seat which was not given by the authority.

Soz’s letter was leaked to the media
The letter, sent to the chairman of the Congress’s Central Election Authority (CEA), was leaked to the media. When the letter became public, Shashi Tharoor had tweeted saying – It was unfortunate that the internal letter sent to CEA was leaked to the media. I hope the clarification sought by Salman Soz will put an end to an unnecessary controversy. This election is to strengthen the Congress, not to divide it.
