Eid-ul-Fitr 2023: People Gather Across India To Offer Prayers, Celebrate Eid — Photos & Videos

Devotees across the nation offered prayers to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr, which marks the culmination of the fasting month of Ramzan. The festival will be celebrated in the country today as the moon was sighted Friday evening. Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated across the world on different days and it is determined by the sighting of the crescent moon which is supposed to denote the start of the Shawwal month in the lunar Islamic calendar. It marks the end of the fasting month of Ramzan.

Devotees at Delhi’s Jama Masjid were seen offering Namaz on Saturday on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr.

Muslims in Delhi hugged and wished each other on this occasion.

Devotees in Mumbai were seen offering Namaz at the Mahim Dargah on this occasion.

Devotees in Bihar’s capital Patna gathered in Gandhi Maidan on Saturday morning. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also visited Gandhi Maidan this morning.

Fireworks were seen last night as people celebrated the sighting of the moon.
