In the year 2017, Amit Shah had invented a new political formula by raising the backward and the most backward in his side. He knew that Yadav voters would not leave the SP and join the BJP. - Om Prakash Rajbhar, president of Subhasamaj Party, is one of the big leaders of his society. In the assembly seats of Varanasi, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur and Devipatan Mandal, there is emphasis of Rajbhar Samaj. There are claims that in more than 20 districts of Purvanchal, the atmosphere of any party can be created and spoiled.
- The political interference of Swami Prasad Maurya, MLA from Padrauna assembly of Kushinagar, is believed to be till Badaun via Rae Bareli and Shahjahanpur. The voters of Maurya fraternity are said to be 6 to 8 percent in UP. It also includes Kushwaha, Kachi, Saini and Shakya etc.
- Dara Singh Chauhan of Azamgarh has influence in 3 districts of Azamgarh division, Mau, Ballia and Azamgarh besides other districts around it. In 2017 he himself won the election from Mau. Rather created an atmosphere for the leaders coming from the backward classes of Purvanchal.
- Krishna Patel, wife of Apna Dal founder Dr. Sonelal Patel, is still searching for her political existence. People of Kamera society say that being the wife of Dr. Sonelal Patel, we all have sympathy with Krishna Patel. Now it is not as if the one-time vote will go to the candidates of Anupriya Patel’s party.
Cast factor has to be taken care of in the ticket
Senior journalist AK Lari of Varanasi, who closely monitors the politics of Purvanchal, says that Akhilesh Yadav has understood the politics of Purvanchal very well. He knows that if other OBC voters also stand with the Yadavs, then a different equation will be formed.
Now the real exam is of selecting the eligible candidates to give tickets. If Akhilesh gives the ticket wisely, then with the help of his traditional voters of Muslim, OBC and upper caste fraternity, he can give good results in his favor this time.
