A source close to the development has informed Pinkvilla that Kapil Sharma is all set to host a grand party for Ed Sheeran tonight. It is worth mentioning here that this is Ed’s second time in India. In a recent interview, the globally popular singer talked about his visit to India when he also revealed that SS Rajamouli’s RRR is his favourite Indian film.
“I really feel the ‘love’ here, in India. Sometimes you can play in places and people can be very subdued. Like, even if they are feeling [the vibe] inside them, you can never read how people feel. I have played in certain countries where people have a subdued reaction, but here, in India, it’s a vibrant country. People are so excited! I have the same personality, so I like that,” Ed told India Today.
Coming to the Kapil Sharma show, the ace comedian recently made headlines with his statement – ‘Ghar Badla Hai, Parivaar Nahi’ as Netflix announced a partnership and a laughter extravaganza with him. He was seen with his OG gang Archana Puran Singh and fan-favorites Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur, tickling our funny bone with their comic timing. Ed Sheeran will be performing in India as part of his Asia and Europe Tour in 2024. The India leg of this much-awaited sensational and best-selling tour will be the final stop in the Asia Tour and will be held at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on March 16, 2024.
