Arrested in Bengal teacher recruitment scam, Partha Chatterjee returned to Kolkata on Tuesday. After submitting the health report from AIIMS Bhubaneswar to the Calcutta High Court, the ED brought them back. Even in Kolkata, doctors have refused to admit him on the basis of medical reports. Said that Parth’s medical reports have arrived and he is fine. They are being continuously monitored.

On the other hand, the ED has also called Trinamool Congress MLA Manik Bhattacharya for questioning in the scam.

ED told in court important clues found from diary
The ED has placed many things before the Calcutta High Court on Monday. The most important of these is the Black Diary, which the investigating agency has recovered from the house of Parth’s close aide actress Arpita Mukherjee. When Arpita appeared in the court on Monday, the court ordered that she be examined every 48 hours and there should be no questioning from 9 pm to 6 am.

What evidence in the Black Diary?

  • Reports quoted the ED as saying that the 40-page diary contains entries related to the teacher scam. The ED said that 16 out of 40 pages mention illegal transactions of money.
  • An envelope from the Higher Education Department has also been found. It had 5 lakh cash.
  • Transfer documents of two companies have also been found. The ED says that the scam money has been transferred through these companies.
  • This shows that Partha Chatterjee and Arpita Mukherjee were in constant touch.
  • The admit cards of Group D staff have also been found, which suggests that Parth has an important role in this scam.

Arpita did not answer the question of relationship with Chatterjee
Arpita was brought to court by the ED at 3:20 pm on Monday. Earlier, his medical checkup was done in the hospital. The ED said that Arpita did not answer questions related to her relationship with Partha Chatterjee and the source of income. His lawyer said that the ED is trying to connect Parth and Arpita, which is wrong.

CM Mamta took the edge, said – the guilty should be punished
When ED arrested Partha Chatterjee on Saturday, he called Mamata Banerjee thrice. Although Mamta did not pick up her phone, but giving her statement for the first time on Monday, Mamta said- “If someone has committed a mistake, no matter how big the punishment, I don’t care. We will not support such people, but Verdict should be given on the basis of truth within a stipulated time frame.”

Partha Chatterjee had tried his best to reach Chief Minister Mamata. ED had arrested Parth on Saturday night at 1:55 pm. After this he called Mamta Banerjee at 2:33, 3:37 and 9:35 in the morning, but the CM did not receive the call even once.

Mamta also said that “I condemn the malicious campaign being run against me. The party or the government has nothing to do with that woman (Arpita Mukherjee). Politics is a sacrifice for me and Trinamool does not forgive thieves, dacoits. If BJP thinks that it can break my party by using agencies, then its thinking is wrong.” Read full news…
