EC announces assembly election’s dates; AAP says ‘all set’

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha welcomed the fresh guidelines and dates from the Election Commission of India saying that Elections are the biggest festival of democracy. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party is all set to win the upcoming elections in Punjab. The Election Commission of India announced the dates for the 2022 Assembly elections in five poll-bound states- Punjab, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, and Uttarakhand. Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Goa will vote in a single phase on February 14, while UP will vote in seven phases from February 10 to March 7. However, Manipur will vote in two phases on February 27 and March 3. The vote will be counted on March 10.
