The University of Delhi (DU) has begun accepting applications for admission to its BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes via the Common Law Admission Test 2023 (CLAT). To get admitted, candidates need to have taken the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023. The admission will depend on CLAT scores. To apply for the DU LLB programmes, candidates need to log in at the official website at law.uod.ac.in. and use the new registration link to enter the information.

Once registered, candidates can then fill out the applications and choose their preferences for admission. Before starting the registration process, candidates must carefully go through the eligibility requirements.

DU LLB 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The prerequisites for admission to the LLB programme have been released by Delhi University. Candidates can review the eligibility requirements below before applying for LLB admissions.

–– Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2 system) or its equivalent from a single recognized board.

–– Candidates must have a minimum score of 45 per cent or more marks in aggregate for the UR/ EWS/ OBC-NCL category and 40 per cent marks or more in aggregate for the SC/ ST/ PwBD category.

–– For applying to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Programmes of UoD, candidates must have appeared in CLAT-2023

–– Candidates who have appeared for the Class 12 examination in the year 2023 and have been placed in the compartment (supplementary) will not be eligible for admission for the year 2023-24.

DU LLB Admission 2023 Registration: How to Apply

Eligible students can follow the step-by-step process given below to complete the registrations.

Step 1: Navigate to the Delhi University Law admission website

Step 2: Then, tap on the new registration.

Step 3: Key in the required details and submit.

Step 4: Log in using the credentials and fill out the application form.

Step 5: Lastly upload necessary documents and click on submit button.

The registration fee for candidates from the UR/ OBC-NCL/ EWS categories is Rs 500, whereas candidates from the SC/ST/PwBD categories must pay Rs 1000. The only acceptable method of payment for the DU LLB registration form shall be online.

Candidates must pay Rs. 1,90,000 as confirmation of the assigned seat once seats are granted. Candidates with parental incomes of Rs 4 lakh or less would be eligible for a fee waiver of up to 90 per cent at the time of admission. A 50 per cent fee waiver would be extended to students whose parents make more than Rs 4 lakh but less than Rs 8 lakh annually. In the event that an applicant withdraws before the deadline for admission, the entirety of the fee, less Rs 5,000, will be returned.
