The forest department blamed Birjalal for the accident.
Birjalal has suffered minor injuries. He is undergoing treatment in the village itself. The snake was seen in the village on Tuesday night. He was then caught and released on the bank of the canal. After this incident, the villagers have now left the python in the forest.
