Mumbai DRI has seized 198 kg of drugs and 9 kg of cocaine from a truck near Vashi. Its price in the international market is estimated to be around Rs 1,476 crore. The smugglers were carrying these drugs and cocaine by hiding them in a truck laden with oranges. DRI has shared information about this.

DRI also arrested Imports
Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) said that a truck was stopped for investigation in Vashi, Mumbai. The truck was loaded with cans of imported oranges, but the smugglers hid methamphetamine and cocaine inside the boxes. The truck has been seized, the agency has also arrested the goods importers. The accused are being interrogated.

Earlier on Friday, the agency had seized black cocaine in Mumbai. On September 26, the Mumbai branch of NCB had seized cocaine worth Rs 13 crore from the airport.
