Former Mumbai cop Sachin Vaze has turned approver in a corruption case involving former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
In an application filed before a special CBI court, Sachin Vaze claimed that he had cooperated with the CBI before and after his arrest. Meanwhile, Vaze has been granted a pardon by the court subject to certain conditions.
Following the court order, Vaze can now dispose as a prosecution witness in the case. He was arrested in March last year in connection with the Ambani bomb scare case.
