Monsoon rains are affecting normal life in many states of the country. There are many states including Mumbai, Gujarat where rain is raining as a disaster. On Friday, many cities like Ahmedabad, Surat in Gujarat received heavy rains, after which there was a flood-like situation. Here, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in many districts of Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Karnataka.

Humidity has bothered people in Delhi for the last few days. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the capital today. At the same time, monsoon has become active in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. However, the rains have not picked up so far.

Here, Surat also received heavy rain on Friday. The rain which started at two o’clock in the afternoon continued till late night. Two and a half inches of rain was recorded here in two hours. Red alert for rain in Mumbai for next 24 hours
Heavy rain in Mumbai for two days has exposed the preparations of BMC. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in different areas of Mumbai in the next 24 hours. According to the department, wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph is also forecast. In view of the incessant rain situation, the opening timings of the sea beach in Mumbai have also been changed. After the red alert, the sea beach will be open only from 6 am to 10 am.

Relief from humidity in Delhi
It is raining as a cloud disaster in many states, whereas, the activity of monsoon rains is not being seen in the capital so far. The people of Delhi are troubled by the scorching heat. Here, however, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain on Saturday (July 9).

Monsoon had reached the state on time on 16 June. Monsoon is also active since last few days. Monsoon trough line is also passing through MP, but it is not getting the support of any strong system like low pressure area, so the state has not received heavy rains so far. It has been raining only for the last few days. So far 17 districts of the state have received below normal rainfall. Alirajpur district has received the lowest rainfall of 59%. So far 3.8 inches of rain has fallen here, while 7.45 inches were to fall.

Bhopal district has received 9.71 inches of rain so far, which is 23% more than normal. On Friday, it rained intermittently in the capital from morning till afternoon. In the last 24 hours, Bairasia area of ​​Bhopal received 2 inches of rain. Other parts including Bhopal city, Bairagarh and Kolar will also be drenched in rain. During this, it rained in most parts of the state, but it did not rain anywhere 4 or 5 inches. According to the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of the state including Bhopal from Sunday.

Less rain expected in UP before July 15
Monsoon peak is near in UP, but the sun is quite harsh. The temperature of many districts of UP including Varanasi has gone above 40°C in the month of July. The east wind coming from Bengal was blowing heavily. The humidity in the air is also more than 80%. Fear of drought in Bihar; Less than 20% rain in 30 districts
Bihar has received 191.4 mm of rain in 38 days. Which is 60 mm less than normal. During this, less than normal rains have been recorded in 35 districts of Bihar. Whereas, 70 percent more rain was recorded in Araria, 68 in Kishanganj and 19 percent in Supaul. At the same time, in view of less than 20% rain in 30 districts of Bihar, the Chief Minister asked the officers to make full preparations in view of the possible circumstances arising out of it. Be fully prepared to deal with the problems of the affected farmers so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience.

235.8 mm of rain in Chhattisgarh so far
Chhattisgarh has received 235.8 mm of rain so far, while 286.7 mm of rain should have been received. But the way the systems are being formed, the weather experts expect that due to good rains in July-August, the water quota in the state can be fulfilled. At the same time, Bastar in the state received heavy rains during 24 hours. It has received 81 mm of rain in the last six days. Due to so much rain in less days, 10 percent shortfall of quota has been completed. Now there is a shortfall of 18 per cent.

The state had received very little rain in June this year. The amount of rain till July 2 was 28 per cent below average. But the situation has started improving due to good rains in the last 6 days. According to meteorologists, there may be heavy rain at some places of Bastar on Saturday as well.
