Bank Of Bhagyalakshmi marks the directorial debut of Abhishek.

Kannada audiences are in for a surprise, as they will soon witness a heist thriller with a touch of comedy, titled Bank of Bhagyalakshmi (BOB). The film initially featured Ajay Rao in the lead, and will now be headlined by Dheekshith Shetty, who is known for his roles in Dia and Blink. Now, recent reports regarding the film have left the fans excited and eagerly anticipating the release of the film. Bank Of Bhagyalakshmi marks the directorial debut of Abhishek. As per reports, 90 percent of the shooting in a 50-day schedule has been wrapped up and currently, the team is waiting to complete the climax portions. Recently, Simple Suni shared the poster on Instagram.
A part of his caption read, “BOB ~ Bank Of Bhagyalakshmi, a blissful dream comes true as we unveil the character poster today. Please share and support the whole team of BOB.” Bank Of Bhagyalakshmi is a bilingual film which will be made and released in Kannada and Telugu. Dheekshith shared in an interview, “Having been part of love dramas and science fiction, I am happy to take on a different genre. BOB is a comedy crime thriller, a very interesting genre.”
The thriller crime comedy stars Dheekshith Shetty and Brinda Acharya of Premam Pujyam. It will also feature other actors like Sadhu Kokila, Gopal Krishna Deshpande, Usha Bhandari, Bharat, Vishwanath, Harish Samashti, Ashwin Rao Pallakki, Shreyas Sharma, Shri Vatsa, and Vinuth. It is being directed by first-time director Abhishek M, who has previously assisted in films like Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, Bahuparak and Operation Alamelamma. The film is produced by HK Prakash who has previously backed films like Rangi Taranga.
Dheekshith Shetty is juggling between various industries. He has Soujan Josseph’s Oppees headlined by Shine Tom Chacko in his kitty. He has also begun shooting for a Telugu film KJQ which will be produced by the makers of Dasara.
