Dhanashree Verma, on Wednesday, shared a video on Instagram about her post-surgery life and how she is bouncing back. The choreographer underwent knee surgery recently, as a result of an ACL ligament tear that happened during a dance session.
The video featured a montage of shots from her dance rehearsal when she was injured and many glimpses of her swollen knee, her physiotherapy moments and her progress after the surgery. She can be seen using a walker at the hospital.
Dhanashree’s self-assured caption was about herself being “strong enough to fight.” She added singer Katy Perry’s powerful track Roar to describe the sentiment behind her post.
“I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar LOUDER THAN A LION. Be strong enough to fight alone and wise enough to wait for your turn. Hard times will come & go but be aware of your surroundings and learn from every experience. Took me a while but here I am. PS. Be the person who breaks the cycle. #ifyouknowyouknow,” she wrote.

Last week, Dhanashree shared a picture of herself from the hospital bed to announce that her surgery was successful. She thanked her fans for their prayers and well wishes. “Successful surgery. Love you,” her caption read.
