KALYAN: The leader of opposition in legislative assembly Devendra Fadnavis on Friday visited Dombivli where he met BJP worker Manoj Katke who is undergoing treatment at AIMS hospital in Dombivli.
Katke was recently attacked by two unidentified people inside his cake shop in Dombivli.
Addressing media persons, Fadnavis at the hospital targeted police for not arresting the accused behind the attack on Katke saying police is working under political pressure.
Fadnavis said it is a very serious issue because it looks like the attackers had planned to kill him.
Fadnavis warned that if the accused are not arrested then he will raise the issue in the state assembly and also protest outside the police station along with BJP workers.
BJP has accused that someone from the ruling party might be behind the attack on Katke, who is social media in charge of Kalyan-Dombivli and used to target MVA leaders on social media.
