Controversy continues in Delhi over the mayoral election. On Tuesday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and BJP workers took to the streets and demonstrated outside each other’s party offices. Due to the uproar, the mayoral election was postponed for the third time on Monday. Members of BJP and AAP started a ruckus at the MCD headquarters after 10 nominated members were approved for the vote. After which the proceedings of the MCD House had to be adjourned.

At the same time, after the adjournment of the House, AAP targeted the BJP. Party leader Atishi said that the intention of the BJP is clearly visible that the party does not want the mayor’s election to be held. BJP has dishonestly formed the government on MCD. On the other hand, Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi said that Delhi has got a corrupt Chief Minister, whose name is constantly coming up in the liquor scam. Using this money, he tried to contest the mayoral elections in Goa and then again. He lured 9 councilors of BJP with position and money.
