Delhi-NCR Pollution: Noida Schools Asked To Go Online Up To Class 9 Till November 10

In the wake of the worsening Air Quality Index (AQI) and increasing pollution in the national capital region, the Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has directed all schools in Noida to switch to online learning up to Class 9, till November 10. An official order released by the Office of the District Magistrate, Gautam Buddha Nagar, has directed all schools in Noida to shut down offline classes up to Class 9, following the implementation of the Graded Responses Action Plan Stage-IV (GRAP Stage-IV). 

“The Air quality Index (AQI)Delhi- NCR breaching the SEVERE Category with 400+ AQI). In view of the above and to control Poor Air Quality, The Air Quality Management Commission vide its order No.120017/27/GRAP/2021CAQM dated 05.11.2023 has implemented Graded Responses Action Plan Stage-IV,” the order reads. 

“In view of above order, all schools of the District Gautam Budha Nagar are directed to follow the implementation of the Graded Responses Action Plan Stage-IV order by discontinuing physical classes from Pre School to Class 9* up to 10/11/2023. And conduct lessons in an online mode,” the order reads,” it adds further.
