Delhi Jal Board director’s water test: Bathed with Yamuna water, said- water is not poisonous, it is clean; BJP MP gave the challenge

The officer of Delhi Board with whom BJP MP Pravesh Verma misbehaved, today the same officer has given his water test. Director of Jal Board, Sanjay Sharma took a bath in the water of Yamuna on Sunday. Also told that the water of Yamuna is clean, not poisonous. Two days back BJP MP had reprimanded Sanjay Sharma and challenged him to take bath in Yamuna water.

After taking bath, Sanjay Sharma said that the BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) level of the water is 12-13. While TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) is below 20, Phosphate is 0.1 and Dissolved Oxygen is over 7.0. The water of Yamuna river is clean. People can feel free to take a dip in it.

The director had complained against the MP
Sanjay Sharma had lodged a police complaint against the BJP MP in this case. He said in the complaint that on October 28, he was on duty at Okhla barrage Kalindi Kunj and was spraying anti-foaming chemical in Yamuna. At the same time Parvesh Verma and Tajinder Bagga came there and started threatening and misbehaving with them. Sanjay Sharma is working as the Director of Treatment Quality Control in Delhi Jal Board.

The officers kept clarifying, the MP did not listen to one

Two days ago, MP Verma, who came to know about the condition of Yamuna river for Chhath Puja, misbehaved with the DJB officer. He reprimanded the officer and said that you did not remember this in eight years? Here you are killing people, in the last eight years you have not been able to clean the Yamuna.

The officer said that how can you say that people are dying because of this. The MP said- You showed it by taking a dip in it. The officer said – Why are you getting angry, it is approved, it is being put to clear. The MP did not listen to him and started saying that I should put it on your head. doing bullshit. Aren’t you ashamed? Pravesh Verma did not stop here. He even called the officer a shameless, lousy man.

The MP gave his explanation
Pravesh Verma also gave his explanation in the case of misbehavior with DJB officer. He said that on visiting Chhath Ghat near Yamuna today, we found containers of toxic chemicals there. This chemical will be dumped in the river. Asked the officer present there who would be responsible for the loss to the people. He was repeatedly told not to put chemicals in the Yamuna river.

How can I not be angry if the authorities do not listen to me in this matter? If I have to talk like this for the interest of the people of Delhi, then I have no problem, it is right.
