Delay in app downloading in mobile: Elderly quarreled with wife, son came in between, injured with knife

This incident is from Madhu Vihar in Delhi. The old man was living with his son and wife after retirement.

In Delhi, a 64-year-old man stabbed his son over delay in app download in his mobile. Actually the man had asked his wife to download the app. When there was a delay, he started quarreling with his wife.

When the son came to intervene, the old man lost his temper and attacked him with a knife. The injured son was admitted to the hospital.

Son engineer, father retired as manager
This matter is of Madhu Vihar area. Ashok Singh, 64, who retired as senior manager from Engineers India Limited Company in 2019, lives in IP Extension with his wife and son Aditya. Aditya is a Computer Engineer in Gurugram.

Had to download the app regarding the payment of the flat
Ashok had recently bought a flat in Gurugram, for which some payments were pending. To pay the balance, Ashok Singh asked his wife Manju Singh to download an app on her phone.

Police said Ashok became enraged when the app took time to download and started quarreling with his wife.

Police said that when Aditya intervened, Ashok got more angry. He stabbed the son on the chest with a knife kept in the kitchen. Aditya got two wounds above his ribs. He was taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital and was discharged after treatment.

Police have registered a case against Ashok under IPC section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon).
