Deepika Padukone-Shah Rukh Khan Learned Jujutsu For Pathaan, Director Spills Beans

New Delhi: ‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, is one of the most eagerly awaited movies to be released in India in 2023. The thriller from Yash Raj Films, which is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy world, is hailed as one of the largest action spectacles ever made.

In the midst of all the criticism surrounding the movie, director Siddharth Anand shared a number of details about Pathaan in a Rapid Fire video. Today, YRF released the clip on Instagram.

In addition, Siddharth revealed that SRK and Deepika learned the lethal Japanese martial art of jujutsu in order to carry out the film’s deadly action scenes.

The high-octane action thriller’s trailer was finally released by the makers on Tuesday. In the short clip, Shah Rukh Khan makes a powerful entrance in a bloody avatar, throwing kicks and punches at the bad guys. John Abraham poses a threat to India’s peace and security, and both Shah Rukh and Deepika play clandestine Indian soldiers willing to do everything it takes to defend their nation.

Meanwhile, the first song of the film, ‘Besharam Rang’ drew a lot of controversy because of the saffron colour bikini sported by Deepika in the song. The Hindutva activists across the country have raised objections to the dance sequence where Shah Rukh Khan is wearing a green colour shirt and Deepika is flaunting a saffron outfit.

‘Pathaan’ is set to release on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
