Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja went all out with decor to host football icon David Beckham in their Mumbai house. After Beckham’s appearance at the India Vs New Zealand World Cup semi final flooded social media, Sonam shared glimpses from her exclusive party for the sports icon. The posted pictures feature the stunning decor, dining table, charming artworks and Beckham himself who opted for simple and stylish attire. Among the images, Sonam and Anand posed with Beckham at the entrance of their house. Other snaps capture Beckham interacting with Anil Kapoor, while in one shot Beckham’s wrist can be seen wrapped in garland.

For the occasion, Sonam wore a stunning white and red ethnic saree, while Anand’s looked stylish green kurta. Meanwhile, Beckham opted for a simple black Polo t-shirt and pants. Alongside posing with Sonam, Anand and Anil, the football icon was captured enjoying an Indian Thali. He engaged with Sonam’s friend, learning about the various dishes. Sonam also provided a glimpse into the ambiance; she shared pictures of one beautifully decorated corner with flowers, candles, lights and artwork. Sharing the post, the actress wrote, “It was such a pleasure showing you a small taste of India David Beckham. Hope you love India as much as India loves you. Thank you to my team that helped me put it together.”
